Day 62: The Choices We Make

Last night I had a choice of either getting on the treadmill and working out OR sitting in my comfy chair by the fire with my 4 year old watching Pinoccio. Well the treadmill lost out. Come on people. It was a real nice experience. He was all cuddled up in my lap as we watched one of my favourite show as a kid.

Having said that, I did manage to get up this morning and do my workout. It was FREEEZING in the "Sunroom". I think I need to get a jacket or wear a sweatshirt. I think that is half my problem getting back in there the last 2 days. i know how fricking cold it is going to be (LOL). I did feel good after and I know all the benifits so blah, blah, blah

Today's Workout Stats:

Time: 34 minutes
....2 minutes @ 2.0 mph (Warm up)
....2 minutes @ 3.0 mph
....5 minutes @ 3.5 mph (jogging)
....23 minutes @ 3.2 mph
....2 minutes @ 2.0 mph (cool down)
Incline 8%

Today's Meals

Breakfast
2 cups coffee w/ cream

Lunch
Tuna & tomato sandwich on rye w/ no mayo or butter
1/2 cup (or less) of cream of carrot soup

Dinner
Miso soup
Sushi (Tuna, Salmon and Cucumber roll)
6 french fries
3 chicken nuggets
4 sm onion rings

Dinner started out OK, but soon deteriorated. I had some fast food that the rest of my family was eating. I guess I have been without crap food for so long I wanted to see what I was missing. Verdict: Not much. I really didn't enjoy it. I think it caused more guilt than satisfaction. I am sure that is a good thing. The bottom line is that if you are going to waste calories or have crap food, make sure it is on something real good like ice cream.

I will update this a little later today.

As always I will keep you posted.
