Day 33: At Home in the Natural State, Arkansas

I am impressed. I rolled out of bed and went down to the fitness room and hopped on the treadmill. The treadmill is actually in better shape than when I left last week.

I didn't get to bed until 12:30am, but I still managed to get up and do my workout.

Today's Workout Stats

Time: 34 minutes (2 warm up - 30 brisk walk - 2 cool down)
Speed: 2.9 Mph
Incline: 8%

Today's Meals

Breakfast:
2 cups black coffee
1 bowl Special K w/ 2% Milk

Lunch:
1 Chicken Salad sandwich w/ tomato and lettuce (no extra mayo)
celery and carrot sticks w/ ranch dressing
1/4 of a dill pickle

Dinner:
15 taco chips
1 oz salsa
Enchilada Rancheras
3 cheese enchiladas w/ pork, guacamole and enchilada sauce
2 diet cokes

For lunch I was quite good. I made sure that they didn't put any extra mayo on the sandwich. I mean it already comes with mayo in the chicken salad, how much more mayo does a guy need. I asked if they could substitute the fries for that carrot and celery sticks and they did. Well I should say that they actually put fries in there and I said no and asked them to take them out and give me the veggies. I felt really strong for doing that. Man, I could have eaten those fries, but the guilt would have killed me.

Dinner was not my best meal of the day. We went out for Mexican food. Now Mexican food is one of my favorites. The menu was huge, but not so strong when it came to lite or healthy choices. I had the enchiladas which wasn't the healthiest but it wasn't the worst either. I have been eating well and being careful so I wasn't to worried. If I start eating like that everyday there is going to be trouble, but respect myself and I know better than that. Tomorrow the guys want to go to a steakhouse down the street. I saw the menu and there are some healthy choices. We will see what happens.

As always I will keep you posted.
