Day 32: Travel day to Arkansas

Today I am travelling to Jonesboro, Arkansas. This is supposed to be my last trip until the new year.

Any time I travel there are new and different challenges that are not present at home. I never know what my schedule will be or if the hotel has working exercise equipment.

I had to get up at 4:00am, so as you can imagine I didn't workout before I had to leave. If I wanted to workout I would have had to get up at 3:00am. I may be a changed man when it comes to exercise, but I am not crazy (well maybe a little).

Today's Workout Stats: None

Today's Meals

Breakfast:
1 Slimfast Shake

Snack
1 of the smallest cans of Spicy Tomato juice I have ever seen
1 cup black coffee

Lunch
A healthy lunch bowl consisting of the following
1 cup Brown rice
Steamed Veggies
3 oz of cooked Chicken (maybe more or less)

Dinner
6 oz Grilled salmon
Steamed broccolli and peppers
3 Diets cokes
1 cup black decaf coffee

I ate really well today. I should have had a little bit more for breakfast I think. I was hungry by lunch, but I managed to control myself and eat a healthy lunch. After lunch I was full, but not overstuffed. The true test of the day was dinner. We all went to Chili's and I could have eaten like a mad man. There are so many ewwie goowie delights on the menu. I did order from the "Healthy" part of the menu. My dinner was 480 calories, but i didn't get the black beans and asked that they not put any Parmesan cheese on the veggies. I am still not clear on why Americans have to put cheese and/or bacon on everything. One of the guys ordered a huge plate of "Endless" chips. The salty and deep fried little beasts were no more than 6" from my snout. You would have been proud. I was the epitome of control. I didn't have a single chip. It wasn't too terrible hard. I knew that if I had one chip I wouldn't be able to stop.

Tomorrow is a new day and full of new challenges and hopefully new successes.

As always I will keep you posted.
